How do I connect to the internet on my Linux Ubuntu?

The computer automatically connects but doesn’t ask me to enter the password (which the connection requires on a Mac or Windows). So even though i’m connected, I can’t access the internet. Where and how do I enter the password?

    jakiego rodzaju połączenia r u chcących dokonać? jest to połączenie DSL? w tym przypadku otworzyć terminal i wpisz "sudo pppoeconf" skonfigurować połączenie z Internetem , aby uruchomić połączenie typu terminala "sudo pon dsl-provider" aby zatrzymać thhe typ połączenia w "sudo poff DSL usługodawcy" aby sprawdzić swój status typu "plog"
